NEET, JEE Main 2020 Exam Day Organized Conduct Date: HRD Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2020) will now be in September. As a result, JEE Advanced was also postponed. The announcement was released based on a report submitted by a team of experts. The decision was taken after considering the current state of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Now, JEE Main - entrance exams for undergraduate engineering courses, will be held from September 1 to 6 and JEE Advanced will be held on September 27. It will be the second time this year that the exams have been postponed. This will be in April and May, respectively.
The minister was forced to reconsider the department after correspondence received by students and parents from around the country and abroad. A few days ago, parents of the National Eligible cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2020) in the Middle East applied to the high court for a postponement of a medical examination.
In a video message, the HRD Minister said, "I hope you will use this time to prepare well and show your strong points." He also emphasized the provision of “stress-free” tests.
