Rani Rampal-led Indian women’s hockey team will be up against Germany in their second pool match.
India’s fencer Bhavani Devi will start the day’s proceedings for India in the women’s sabre individual round of 64 against Nadia Ben Azizi of Tunisia.
In the table tennis, Sutritha Mukherjee will lock horns with Fu Yu of Portugal in the women’s second round. Manika Batra, who made a remarkable comeback in the second round on Sunday, will be against Sofia Polcanova of Austria in the third round. In the men’s singles second round, Sharath Kamal will face Portugal’s Tiago Apolonia.
In the badminton, India’s men’s doubles pair Swastikraj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will face Indonesian duo Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sukamuljo.
